PLB offer heritage consultancy and design services to a wide variety of projects all over the world.

Approach.
Being asked to develop and identity for a business that itself is well respected for its creativity was an interesting challenge. However, the process turned out to be a straight forward meeting of creative minds; we had an initial meeting, we did our homework, we developed identity and design styling options, they loved one, they picked it! Bingo.

Result.
The new logo and supporting material galvanised the identity and enabled PLB to present consistent styling across all media. This included identity, stationery, newsletter and website.

Apart from being one of our favorite places to go for great food and wine we’ve also worked with The Blue Bicycle since 2004 when they approached us for a complete restyling of menus, stationary, website and supporting literature.

Approach.
In our eyes it was essential that the material we designed must completely reflect the character of the restaurant. So, armed with cameras, we spent a few hours in the restaurant shooting the unusual artifacts and curios that help create the dining ambience. This was thrown into the melting pot known as Photoshop and mixed with a good dollop of creativity. Stirred vigorously throughout, the designs were taken off a high heat and left to cool. (I know, stop it eh?)

Result.
The suite of material that we produced was both rich and vibrant and today still stands The Blue Bicycle design apart from the competition.

With a unique approach to selling and renting and a philosophy based on energy, knowledge and passion, Morgans are definitely not your typical estate agent.

Approach.
Its been a while since we did this work but we still like it, so we thought we’d show it to you. We worked with Leeds property heavyweights Graham Bates and Jonathan Morgan when they were involved in the build of the St. George Building in Leeds. In line with the design-led building our design input required a contemporary feel to appeal to a sophisticated buyers and rental tenants. In order to give a genuine insight into the personality of the area and living space we interviewed and photographed local resident business owners and shot a suite of lifestyle photography for marketing material.

Result.
The result was a stylish mix of online and printed material that highlighted the aspirational qualities of city centre living and clearly defined the benefits of living at The St. George Building.

We’ve been working with Business Link for over 10 years since they set up shop at Monks Cross, York. And although they’re now Business Link Yorkshire and based in Barnsley we’re still in touch and doing regular work with them.

Approach.
This project was developed as part of a suite, during one of the national re-brands. We worked with the national design team to stretch the design guidelines to infuse more contemporary and abstract photography in marketing literature.

Result.
This particular suite of literature was really well received by the marketing team at Business Link, as well as the target audience. The proof being that they received a record number of bookings on the workshops. That’s design that works, that is.

This is a brochure that we designed for SES a few years ago and it became the forerunner for the styling that knits the SES identity together today. It could almost be called one of our Vintage projects!

Approach.
Without exception the SES identity works when the design is clean, uncluttered and refined. Space for text and images to work cohesively has always suited SES and this project was the catalyst for us bringing those brand attributes into play.

Result.
The brochure was printed on a super-heavyweight silk stock with a matt laminated cover and it delivered the information with clarity and impact.
